Christy Banks, Clarinet  

Christy Banks currently teaches clarinet and saxophone to fabulous students in her private studio as well as at Nebraska Wesleyan University and Concordia University.  An active performer, she is a member of the New Music Agency, the Lincoln Symphony, the Third Chair Chamber Players, the Lincoln Municipal Band, the Huntington Trio, and Bent Indigenous.  She and her husband, Rusty, have two marvelous children.  Christy really really hopes to graduate in May with her DMA in Clarinet from UNL, at which point she will channel her creative energies into learning to play the mandolin and exploring the many uses of tofu.
